摘要: Among seniors, food choice and related activities are affected by health status, biological changes wrought aging functional abilities, which mediated in the larger arena familial, social economic factors. Determinants of healthy eating stem from individual collective Individual components include age, sex, education, physiological issues, psychological attributes, lifestyle practices, knowledge, attitudes, beliefs behaviours, addition to other universal dietary determinants such as income, status culture. Collective eating, accessible labels, an appropriate shopping environment, marketing “healthy eating” message, adequate support provision effective, community-based meal delivery services have potential mediate habits thus foster eating. However, there is a startling paucity research this area, particularly so Canada. Using search inclusion criteria key strings guide research, article outlines state knowledge gaps area among Canadian seniors. In conclusion, self-management persists well, independent seniors without financial constraints, whatever their living arrangements, whereas nutritional risk high those poor lacking resources.
