摘要: The purpose of the paper is to investigate transverse cracking cross-ply laminates, subjected uniaxial tensile loading. For quasi-static tests, most cracks, initiated in 90° plies, instantaneously cross entire test specimen width from edge edge. In this case, investigation reduced a two-dimensional analysis. A finite element analysis has been implemented and compares results obtained by analytical models. These comparisons show that complete parabolic shear-lag yields fairly good approximation strain stress distributions deduced model analysis, for longitudinal stiffness reduction as function crack density, are agreement with experimental various laminates. then used develop statistical damage accumulation process.
