摘要: Statement of problem Discoloration resin-based composites by colored solutions is a common problem. The use bleaching agents for discolored natural teeth becoming increasingly popular. It not clear if can remove the stain from composite resins. Purpose purpose this study was to investigate effects 2 staining and 3 systems on color changes dental Material methods Forty-five disk-shaped specimens (9 × 2.5 mm) each resins, Filtek Supreme (FS) Esthet X (EX), were prepared. then divided into groups 15 immersed in (coffee or red wine) distilled water (control) hours daily over 40-day test period. subgroups (n=5), (Crest Night Effects, Colgate Simply White Night, Opalescence Quick) applied surface 14-day Color measured with spectrophotometer using CIELAB space relative CIE standard illuminant D55 at baseline, after staining, bleaching. differences (ΔE ab ∗ ) between measurements calculated. value ΔE =3.3 used as an acceptable subjective visual evaluations. Analysis variance nonparametric analysis (Kruskal-Wallis Mann-Whitney test) analyze data. Results After FS had more change than EX affected wine solution. bleaching, both returned baseline. baseline less all groups. Conclusion nanocomposite changed microhybrid (EX) result coffee solutions. discoloration removed completely resins tested.
