Microwave conductivity in polycrystalline (BEDT-TTF)2I3 material

摘要: Polycrystalline material of the α-phase (BEDT-TTF)2I3 was compressed to small samples (4 mm × 1 mm, thickness 0.3 typically) at a pressure 10 kbar. Annealing 70°C yields superconducting αt-phase. Microwaves (10.2 GHz) enable measurements conductivity for stepwise annealing after every step in always same sample. For times ⪆ min all versus temperature curves are intersecting an isosbestic point 190 K. This behaviour can be described by relation two component system, from which determined volume fraction new grown αt-phase dependence time. Starting (annealing < min) shows another unexpected phase transformation. After 2 200 K increases more than one order magnitude, but then decreases further (5–10 down value unannealed
