摘要: The importance of neurovascular crosstalk in development, normal physiology, and pathologies is increasingly being recognized. Although vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), a prototypic regulator interaction, has been studied intensively, defining other important regulators this process warranted. Recent studies have shown that platelet-derived C (PDGF-C) both angiogenic neuronal survival factor, it appears to be an component crosstalk. Importantly, the expression pattern functional properties PDGF-C its receptors differ from those VEGF, thus PDGF-C-mediated interaction may represent new paradigm
