摘要: Purpose We evaluated the use of a novel irrigated bipolar radiofrequency system for treatment nonmitral paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Description Between December 2003 and July 2005, 24 patients with fibrillation underwent cardiac procedures (coronary artery bypass grafting, n=14; aortic valve replacement, n=6; replacement coronary n=3; Bentall procedure, n=1). In 12 14 graft patients, procedure was performed off pump. All additionally pulmonary vein isolation using Medtronic Cardioblate BP (Medtronic, Minneapolis, MN). Acute conduction block in 16 patients. Evaluation Patients were followed-up 6 months. Major adverse events include 1 patient death requiring implantation pacemaker. At discharge 19 22 (86.3%) stable sinus rhythm. After 3 months, rhythm found 15 21 (71%). (100%) Complete accomplished 29 32 pairs (91%) after single ablation 31 (97%) second application. Conclusions Pulmonary this device is feasible, safe, gains high experimental clinical efficacy, including during off-pump surgery.
