摘要: Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy is used to study netural imines formed from various aldehydes and primary amines in aqueous solution. The are then extracted into CDCl3 their formation constants the phase calculated as a function of pD. results agreement with previous studies. Decoupling experiments prove that additional splitting proton spectrum due long range coupling rather than syn-anti isomerism. possibility utilizing Schiff bases solution for synthetic purposes discussed 13C imine, isolated reaction 2-thiophenecarbaldehyde n-butylamine, reported.
