摘要: Seven primary tumours of the vestibule and inner ear are described, six schwannomas one traumatic fibroma. Schwannomas in this situation may occur as sporadic tumours, or be a feature neurofibromatosis type 2 (NF-2). In latter condition they isolation association with, but separate from, arising internal meatus. Direct extension into an intrameatal vestibular schwannoma is well reported, intravestibular tumour meatus not described. Traumatic fibromas rare trigger could attack labyrinthitis. Intravestibular although rare, likely to diagnosed with increasing frequency widespread use MR imaging.
