摘要: Abstract While Electric Vehicles (EVs) have received substantial investment from governments to support technological development and testing in real world conditions, uptakes levels thus far been below expectations. This is widely acknowledged be due a range of concerns held by potential users including cost, range, reliability availability for use. In this paper the role through-life engineering addressing these will discussed. The major components subsystems used EVs identified their impact on life span, operation cost EV ownership identified. Based upon analysis recommendations made future research aimed at improving operational viability cycle cost.
