摘要: ABSTRACT We describe a near‐infrared camera in use at the Canada‐France‐Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) and 1.6 m telescope of Observatoire du mont Megantic (OMM). The is based on Hawaii‐1 1024 × HgCdTe array detector. Its main feature acquisition three simultaneous images wavelengths across methane absorption bandhead μm, enabling, theory, an accurate subtraction stellar point‐spread function (PSF) detection faint close, methanated companions. instrument has no coronagraph features fast data acquisition, yielding high observing efficiency bright stars. performance described, it illustrated by laboratory tests CFHT observations nearby stars GL 526, υ And, χ And.
