摘要: VEPs were recorded with three different spatial frequencies of stimulation in patients affected by idiopathic Parkinsonism and Parkinsonian syndromes. The detection VEP abnormalities Parkinson's disease was dependent on the frequency visual stimulus (a vertical square wave grating). latency normal syndrome (except one patient familial Parkinsonism). Dopamine precursor therapy differently reduced latency, depending stimulus. These findings suggest that dopaminergic mechanism involved generation delays is sensitive to frequency. study before after administration haloperidol confirmed this hypothesis. did not correlate major clinical symptoms could predict results chronic therapy.
