摘要: ABSTRACTBackground: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is the sixth most common type of cancer. The majority patients present advanced stage disease has poor survival. Therefore, it imperative to search for new biomarkers alternative effective treatment options. Most cancer cells rely on aerobic glycolysis generate energy metabolic intermediates. This phenotype a hallmark cancer, characterized by an increase in glucose consumption production high amounts lactate. Consequently, need up-regulate many proteins enzymes related with glycolytic metabolism.
