摘要: Given the volume, complexity and heterogeneity of data generated by high-throughput approaches, modern biology needs standards for representation communication. But how should such be developed? What types standard are needed what determines whether they successfully adopted community? High-throughput technologies generating large amounts complex that have to stored in databases, communicated various analysis tools interpreted scientists. Data communication implement these steps efficiently. Here we give a classification related systems discuss aspects standardization life sciences general. Why some more successful than others, prerequisites succeed possible pitfalls?
