摘要: This article uses an evolutionary networking perspective to develop a Spiral Model of technological evolution for web technologies. model is grounded in archival data concerning the creation and development browser search technologies (1994-2005). The posits that process goes through four interconnected phases: network formation, contest, blackboxing dismantling blackbox. highlights role frames guide inscription artifacts enrollment key actors into actor-networks. These actornetworks engage contests as each seeks impose its frame on technology. Actors who are successful this contest can begin “blackbox” technology according their frame. Yet blackbox state reversible, subject over time both endogenous exogenous triggers may dismantle these blackboxed phase leads another round formation contestation. result evertightening spiral change two
