摘要: Ageing of solid insulating materials and systems, according to IEC IEEE standards, is the occurrence irreversible deleterious changes that critically affect performance shorten useful life. What causes ageing not an easy question answer, nor it a function isolated event or applied stress. Years experience have shown degree rate insulation depend on physical chemical properties material, nature duration applied/induced stress(es), material processing treatment during manufacturing subsequent use in equipment. Stresses integrity, reliability, service life electrical equipment components, such as switchgears, transformers, cables, include electrical, thermal, mechanical, radiation and/or environmental ones. These stresses sequentially simultaneously lead deterioration, but rates are different easily explainable. >
