摘要: Monitoring the condition and forecasting lifetimes of material within ageing nuclear power plant is a subject great topicality. Among these materials are cables reactor control systems necessary for safe operation, including controlled shutdown in event an emergency. The ability to ensure that such cabling fit its purpose major concern, but at present there no universal testing procedure. Rather, exists "tool box" techniques encompass different mechanical, electrical, chemical tests. While this satisfactory certain extent, many drawbacks, new methods required. Accordingly, efforts continue devise suitable means accomplishing this. ultimate achievement cable monitoring would be capability correlate insulation with remaining useful life, survivability DBE.
