Summative assessment: a pilot project in the west of Scotland.

摘要: In the autumn of 1991 Committee in General Practice west Scotland region appointed a working party to investigate possibility developing credible, valid and reliable programme summative assessment for general practitioner trainees. The group formulated four-part package consisting multiple true-false paper, trainee audit project, trainers' judgement, analysis videotaped consultations. reasons use this selection methods are discussed. It is suggested that process trainees should make considerable knowledge trainee, have an external component, be criterion referenced, element continuous assessment, involve direct clinical competence.
