摘要: Disclosed are compositions and methods for increasing the longevity of a cell culture permitting increased production proteins, preferably recombinant such as antibodies, peptides, enzymes, growth factors, interleukins, interferons, hormones, vaccines. Cells transfected with an apoptosis-inhibiting gene or vector, triple mutant Bcl-2 gene, can survive longer in culture, resulting extension state yield protein biosynthesis. Such cells exhibit maximal densities that equal exceed density achieved by parent lines. Transfected also be pre-adapted serum-free medium, greatly decreasing time required to obtain medium. In certain methods, used following transformation under conditions. The method involves eukaryotic cells, more mammalian cells.
