摘要: Besides segmental cues, suprasegmental features are used by speakers to affect listeners’ understanding of speech meanings. The emotional intonation Chinese is quite attractive us. As a tonal language, the in an autosegmental element independent lexical tone element, although these two elements expressed same F curve. However, curve conveys both linguistic and paralinguistic functions. Therefore, understand encoding mechanism expressive communication, we shall examine interplay between speech. In this chapter analyze patterns seven intonations, focusing on issues: (1) general fine structure acoustic cues intonation, especially, how co-encoded boundary tones convey information (2) relationship form function related tones.
