摘要: The surface tension and foaming properties of sodium oleate were altered by adding a large electronegative moiety bromine, to its unsaturation. These measured compared the original oleic soap. It was found that has lower CMC than both brominated surfactants. bromine slows down rate adsorption with doubly surfactant being slowest. Foamability analogues not affected, however foam be less stable. Bromination also caused coalescence bursting bubbles.
