摘要: Objective Cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity is related to an increase in lipid peroxidation, oxygen-free radicals, and inflammation kidney. Zinc antioxidant has anti-inflammatory action. To date, the protective role of zinc picolinate on cisplatin-induced renal injury not been investigated. The purpose present study was examine effect injury. Methods Male Wistar rats (n = 28, 8-week-old, weighing 200 220 g) were divided into four groups consisting 7 each: control, (6 mg Zn kg −1 BW i.p.), cisplatin (7 i.p., single dose) plus picolinate. Results A dose resulted malondialdehyde, 8-isoprostane, tumor necrosis factor-α levels kidney significantly deranged function (urea-N creatinine; P > .05). expression heat shock proteins 60 70 increased after treatment compared with control ( Conclusions These results suggest that may be a potential preventive agent through decreasing oxidative stress inflammation.
