摘要: Summary Nutrient utilization, body condition and carcass traits of cull ewes were studied in three dietary regimens based on complete feed block (CFB) feeding to control (C) with rumen protected protein (RPP), CU [RPP + urea (6 g/kg)] CUF fat (RPF; 40 g/kg)]. The RPP component (g/kg) C had 1% formaldehyde-treated soy flakes 50, mustard cake 50 sesame 30. cakes replaced equivalent N basis CUF. offered ad libitum CFB composed concentrate 650, roughage 300 molasses 50. digestibility OM EE was higher (p < 0.05) than C, while that NDF ADF lower (p < 0.05). CP both Utilization Ca compared CU. Urinary purine derivatives analysis microbial synthesis similar all the groups. Blood glucose concentration improved at 90 day 0 day. Ruminal attributes showed a pH, total N, TCA precipitable entodiniomorphs ciliate population control. (p < 0.01) DM, digestible ME intake, which resulted weight gain better efficiency. Ewes groups an improvement 90 day. pre-slaughter dissected KOH bone content Thus, as cheaper source RPF enrich energy supported performance evidenced from nutrient input, ‘utilization efficiency enhanced traits’ for marketability returns ewes.
