DNA and copper (II) governed fluorescence tuning of phenanthroline possessing Ru(II) complex. Interplay of electrostatic interactions

摘要: Abstract Tuning of the fluorescence properties [Ru (bpy) 2 (L1)] 2 + (1) [L1 = 2-(2-methoxyphenyl)-1H–imidazo [4, 5-f] Kumar et al. (2010), Rawle (1992) phenanthroline] by DNA and/or Cu2 + ion have been investigated. Fluorescence 1 gets enhanced upon binding to owing electrostatic interactions. The constant 8.4 × 104 has evaluated. ions though unable alter intensity free but successfully sequestrate bound 1, evidently decreasing its intensity. reversibility sequestration process was ascertained recovery quenched via introduction equimolar EDTA buffer system and Cu2 +.
