摘要: Protein conjugates of 5-aminonaphthalene-1-acetic acid and 5-azido-naphthalene-1-acetic have been prepared evaluated for auxin activity in two types assay. In standard elongation tests with pea (Pisum sativum L.) epicotyl sections the are inactive. However, if epicotyls abraded to perforate cuticle, is observed provided that not too large traverse cell wall. a system lacking wall — tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum protoplasts widely differing size able induce membrane hyperpolarization. These results support other recent evidence receptors exposed at exterior face plasma indicate auxins can produce both rapid longer-term responses without entering cell.
