摘要: Abstract In order to efficiently and effectively convert the tire point cloud 3D CAD model, a feature-based reverse modeling method reflecting design intent of pattern structure is proposed in this paper. The concrete research contents are as follows. Firstly, scan line transformed into 2D mapping matrix based on range image. Secondly, segmentation tread completed with data groove separated. Thirdly, top surface, bottom boundary information extracted from segmented matrix. And then clustering transversal patterns carried out by calculating similarity repair reduce human interactions. Finally, basis parameters feature, semantic feature orienting at model constructed. On above theoretical study, system for developed CATIA V5 platform CAA. Test examples show practicality modeling.
