摘要: Abstract This paper presents experimental data, a fuzzy logic (FL) model, mathematical model (MM) and coupled MM–FL for laboratory scale electrodialysis (ED) cell. The aim was to predict separation percent (SP) of zinc ions as function concentration, temperature, flow rate voltage. At first, Sugeno type FL inference system applied from wastewater using ED. modeling results showed that there is an excellent agreement between the data predicted values, with mean squared relative error (MSRE) less than 0.01. Then, previously developed MM were presented. related SP hydrodynamic dimension ED cell operation conditions via two distinct parameters. ability favored scale-up applications. However, based on MSRE (about 24), it could not obviously well FL. Hence, final step, achieve benefits both. It found out (MM–FL) able at all operating condition almost every high degree accuracy (MSRE = 0.05).
