摘要: This paper presents, in contrasts to the desktop metaphor, a content centric data surface interaction paradigm for graphical user interfaces applied music creativity improvisation. Issues taken into account were navigation and retrieval of information, collaboration, creative open-ended tasks. In this system there are no windows, icons, menus, files or applications. Content is presented on an infinitely large two-dimensional navigated by incremental search, zoom, pan. Commands typed aided contextual help, visual feedback, text completion. Components provide services related different modalities. Synchronisation sustains mutual awareness actions modifiability. The prototype tool was evaluated with 10 users; it supported expected users, their action, collaboration. User responses were: It feels free, good creativity, it’s easy fun use.
