摘要: Purpose Collagenase has been investigated in phase II and III clinical trials for the treatment of Dupuytren's disease. The purpose this study is to report 8-year follow-up results a subset patients who had collagenase injection contracture. Methods Twenty-three participated trial injectable were contacted by letter phone. Eight enrolled, completed disease questionnaire, independent examination joint motion single examiner. Results study: 6 treated isolated metacarpophalangeal (MCP) contracture, 2 proximal interphalangeal (PIP) Average preinjection contracture was 57° MCP group. 9° at 1 week, 11° year, 23° follow-up. Four experienced recurrence, no evidence recurrence 45° PIP 8° weeks, 15° 60° Both No further intervention on finger either or Patients subjectively rated overall success 60%, 88% stated that they would pursue their recurrent progressive Conclusions Enzymatic fasciotomy safe efficacious, with initial response resulting reduction within 0°–5° normal 72 out 80 patients. Initial evaluation long-term rates suggests progression 4 contractures contractures; however, generally less severe than In addition, patient satisfaction high. Type study/level Therapeutic IV.
