摘要: Blood samples collected from animals are sometimes not analysed immediately due to remoteness the laboratories, unavailability of equipment and reagents power outages especially in developing countries. This study investigated artifactual changes haematological values Hetroclarias hybrid blood stored at room (30 °C) refrigerator (5 temperatures. Twelve apparently healthy fish weighing between 700 900 g were used for study. Samples upon collection divided into two parts determinations carried out six hourly intervals 0 36th hour then 48th hour. Results showed significant reduction (p 0.05) temperature.
