摘要: Testing the peripheral field of vision is mainstay for detection glaucoma deterioration. Various methods and algorithms are currently available early or establishing disease progression. Alternative testing strategies such as frequency doubling technology perimetry short-wavelength automated have been extensively explored over last 2 decades. The former has found most promising earliest evidence functional damage when standard achromatic results still within normal range. However, remains technique deterioration disease. Both trend event analyses used change series visual fields. Trend provide clinician with rates progression, putting speed progression in context patient longevity, whereas demonstrate a "step" regardless length time it took this amount to occur. two techniques complementary should be concurrently.
