摘要: This article addresses the incidence of specific complications and, where possible, offers a preventive or management strategy. Injuries inferior alveolar and lingual nerves are significant issues that discussed separately in this text. Surgical removal third molars is often associated with postoperative pain, swelling, trismus. Factors thought to influence after molar include age, gender, medical history, oral contraceptives, presence pericoronitis, poor hygiene, smoking, type impaction, relationship nerve, surgical time, technique, surgeon experience, use perioperative antibiotics, topical antiseptics, intra-socket medications, anesthetic technique. Complications further osteitis, infection, hemorrhage, oro-antral communication, damage adjacent teeth, displaced fractures.
