摘要: Dermatomyositis is associated with an underlying malignancy in approximately 25% of patients. A weaker association evident for polymyositis. The usually adenocarcinoma the ovary, lung, or gastrointestinal tract. Patients dermatomyositis polymyositis need to be evaluated uniformly at time initial diagnosis and, some cases, event a subsequent recurrence. This apparent paraneoplastic syndrome may stem from immune reaction antigens expressed cancer cells that crosses over same by regenerating fibers damaged diseased muscle.
