Bundle-like Assemblies of Cadmium Hydroxide Nanostrands and Anionic Dyes

摘要: Molecularly flat and extremely long bundle-like assemblies were prepared from cadmium hydroxide nanostrands polysulfonated dyes. The dye molecules regularly aligned along with the nanostrands, as confirmed by electron microscopies UV-vis absorption spectroscopy. Strong electrostatic interaction between two components was useful to control fibrous morphologies optical properties of these organic/inorganic nanocomposites.
