摘要: This study evaluates the effect of 4 months supplementation with 2% and 5% taurine (w/w) on retina diabetic rats. In non-diabetic rats, does not modify glycemia, body weight, retinal conjugated dienes (CD), lipid hydroperoxide (LP), Na+K+ATPase activity. rat, at 2, 4, 8, 16 weeks following onset diabetes, CD LP are significantly progressively increased, while pump activity is gradually reduced. supplemented glycemia affected but peroxidation decreased. Finally, preserves ATPase being more effective than taurine. We conclude that ameliorates biochemical abnormalities caused by thereby suggesting may have a role in prevention changes diabetes.
