Expanding international business research on foreignness

摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to present our viewpoint on the research foreignness and provide directions for future studies. We suggest that can be expanded by exploring its complexity. Design/methodology/approach This article takes form a viewpoint. Findings identify three facets effect (liabilities or assets) level (organizational individual) locus (external internal an entity), which have not been sufficiently examined in prior research. Originality/value discuss how these aspects inform novel agenda area.
