摘要: Background: The expected end product as formal elementary education is completed primarily a satisfactory level of reading comprehension skills, which required to mediate text-based learning in other school subjects. However, statistics show that large number students finish with substantial deficits comprehension. Objective: To investigate the effectiveness Speech and Language Program for Development Literacy (PFPL) improving skills schoolchildren fourth grade Belo Horizonte. Methods: study was approved by Research Ethics Committee institution. A convenience sample two classes selected. class participated PFPL constituted case group while non-PFPL comprised control group. At research, this received same intervention included activities shared reading, scaffolding strategies, collective discursive construction, addition phonological spelling processing tasks. Results: performance groups comparable on initial assessment, high prevalence children difficulties. Following PFPL, improved significantly whereas was unchanged. Conclusion: effective schoolchildren’s skills.
