摘要: In tidal and river hydrokinetic power generation, the fluctuating nature of water currents grid condition induce output power, this fluctuation may cause voltage fluctuations or flicker during continuous operation. terms quality issue, can limit integration generators in certain conditions system networks. Hence, assessment mitigation are required to solve problem generation. The mostly adopted technique mitigate renewable resources is reactive compensation. This paper investigates effectiveness by control (VAr control) different conditions. case study performed a simplified model grid-connected generator developed simulation tool PSCAD/EMTDC.
