摘要: Young and aged rats were treated chronically with ethanol or scopolamine. Muscarinic receptors measured in cerebral cortex, hippocampus striatum. Following scopolamine treatment muscarinic receptor density striatum of young increased by 34, 57 27%, respectively; brains the increase was 41% 43% nil Affinity not changed treatment. chronic administration there a 48% cortical young, but rats. The both affected aged, ethanol-treated compared to age-matched controls. Adaptative responses receptor/transducer system neurotransmitter availability are present rats, buth ethanol-induced response is only animals. This suggests differences mechanism action agonists antagonists modulating plasticity.
