摘要: Ethanol (15% v/v) was administered in the drinking water to male Wistar rats over period of 3 months. Binding properties muscarinic receptors were studied synaptosomes from selected brain areas using [3H]quinuclidinyl benzilate and its displacement by selective antagonist, pirenzepine agonist, carbachol. Dissociation constants (Kd) all three ligands cerebral cortex, hippocampus striatum ethanol-treated groups did not differ those controls. Density binding sites cortex animals approx. 50% higher than controls (2.06 ± 0.2 1.32 pmol/mg protein respectively, mean SD, n = 6, P < 0.001). This largely attributable an increase M1 as shown studies. In capacity affected ethanol treatment. Synthesis acetylcholine prisms inhibited under resting conditions, but stimulation synthesis high K+ concentration significantly altenuated comparison with These results suggest that chronic consumption induces changes cholinergic neurotransmission areas.
