摘要: A study of the causative agents enteritis in domestic rabbits from 44 different accessions is described. In descending order frequency, organisms most commonly demonstrated were intestinal and hepatic coccidia (Eimeria species), Escherichia coli, Clostridium spp., Salmonella, Bacillus piliformis, rotavirus. The species Eimeria identified included those moderately pathogenic low pathogenicity. Using seven antisera against known enterpathogenic strains E. only one strain, O15, was three cases. perfringens or C. spiroforme contents 11 cases, lesions compatible with clostridial enteropathy on gross histopathology. a serological survey, over 50% 200 fryer submitted to Ontario abattoirs animals commercial rabbitries had detectable antibody rotavirus, indicating widespread distribution rotaviral infections this species. cases studied, two more potentially frequently identified, emphasizing that several may be acting concert produce clinical disease.
