摘要: Cryptosporidium in farm rabbits is not often recognised due to a low prevalence and asymptomatic course of infection. Nonetheless, incidences fatal diarrhoeic diseases are frequently noticed the rabbitries. In this article, we report an outbreak where there was massive mortality among associated with The disease characterised by profuse diarrhoea resulting death rabbits. A pooled faecal sample screened for presence parasites using microscopy methods. tested no other than oocysts were found. Further identification parasite species performed at molecular level, 18 SSU rRNA, COWP LIB13 PCR followed subtyping GP60 gene locus. Sequence analysis fragment revealed novel subtype VbA24 cuniculus. protozoan played major role etiology gastrointestinal disorders infected animals.
