摘要: Consultation/liaison psychiatry is the subspecialty of which focuses on evaluation, treatment, and management medical surgical patients with emotional cognitive problems. Psychiatrists active in this area expertise are usually based a hospital setting, or work closely internists, family practitioners, surgeons obstetricians/gynecologists. The psychiatric consultant must possess firm grounding general as well familiarity common medical/surgical problems their treatments, use psychopharmacologic agents medically ill, usual structure functioning hospitals.1–3 He/she brings knowledge complex interactions among biological, psychological, social factors that always at play any given moment person’s life expert assessing impact these current condition. psychiatry, then, stands bridge between specialties medicine, bringing psychiatrist to bear physically ill patient who demonstrates disorders mood cognition.
