The use of d-amphetamine in medically ill depressed patients.

摘要: A positive therapeutic response to d-amphetamine is described in three medically ill depressed patients a general hospital. Two were either unable tolerate or responded poorly tricyclic antidepressants. In one patient, was chosen because of the combination postoperative pain and depression. There rapid remission depressive symptomatology with no adverse side effects, consistent findings other investigators. Further evaluation role treatment recommended.
