摘要: The hospital charts of 198 patients with acute medical or surgical illnesses who had been treated either dextroamphetamine methylphenidate for secondary depression during a 5-year period at the Massachusetts General Hospital were examined. Eighty-two percent showed improvement following psychostimulant treatment. Seventy all demonstrated marked moderate in depressive symptoms. No significant differences efficacy between two psychostimulants across diagnostic categories observed. Patients improved quickly, usually within first 2 days Adverse reactions necessitating termination treatment occurred 10% trials. Anorexia was not observed as side effect
