摘要: The dose distribution of carbon ion beams was modified to cover 14 cm peak width using a ridge filter suitable for clinical application. results cell survival as function depth penetration ions and the mouse skin (foot) response at proximal-, mid-, distal-peak positions four daily fractions are reported. objective these studies is verify whether in region properly compensated produce uniform biological effect. implications shape radiotherapy application discussed.
