摘要: Abstract In this paper, we show that under appropriate deposition conditions, epitaxial films of La2/3Ca1/3MnO3 can grow fully strained on SrTiO3 (STO) single-crystalline substrates up to thicknesses as large 180 nm. particular, the growth rate appears be a critical parameter. The microstructure different thickness values is analyzed by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, showing sharp interfaces and no misfit dislocations. magnetotransport properties are studied function thickness. It found that, despite absence steric effects related strain relaxation, metal-to-insulator transition temperature reduced from 270 K for 180 nm some 100 K thinner thus revealing increasing influence interface film with substrate.
