摘要: A newly developed heuristic global optimization algorithm, called gravitational search algorithm (GSA), was introduced and applied for simultaneously coordinated designing of power system stabilizer (PSS) thyristor controlled series capacitor (TCSC) as a damping controller in the multi-machine system. The design problem PSS TCSC controllers over wide range loading conditions is formulated multi-objective which aggregation two objectives related to ratio factor. By minimizing objective function with oscillation, characteristics between areas are contained hence interactions among under transient modified. For evaluation effectiveness robustness proposed controllers, performance tested on weakly connected subjected different disturbances, parameter variations. eigenvalues analysis nonlinear simulation results demonstrate high able provide efficient low frequency oscillations.
