Damping controller design for power systems with polytopic representation of operating conditions

摘要: This paper demonstrates the effectiveness and advantages of polytopic representation uncertainties in operating conditions for design damping controllers power systems. A model with a better physical meaning (compared to other robust control approaches) is obtained, making controller simpler less conservative. An H/sub /spl infin// output-feedback procedure pole placement constraints applied. The designed tested, via nonlinear simulations, on benchmark system various operation. results these simulations show able provide strong inter-area oscillations, over entire range conditions.
