摘要: Neuromyelitis optica is a relapsing inflammatory disorder of the central nervous system that manifests predominantly with attacks optic neuritis and longitudinally extensive transverse myelitis; are often severe. In contrast to multiple sclerosis, secondary progressive phase rare, disability in neuromyelitis spectrum disorders related relapses. Thus, prompt effective treatment relapses, early initiation long-term immunosuppression prevent subsequent required order morbidity mortality.
