摘要: Faraday rotation measurements have been made on a small theta‐pinch plasma using the 337, 128, 119, and 79 μm wavelength radiation of HCN H2O gas lasers. Rotation angles up to 50 deg measured with an accuracy, set mainly by laser source, estimated be better than 10%. Enhancement or attenuation transmitted signal produced density gradients in has simultaneously correct measurements. The measurement confirms that magnetic probe placed perturbs actual field present.
